Since the first of the year there’s been enough rain to put me off going out on the bike…and lack of decent routine since I’ve been off work has meant I’ve not gone to the gym.

Well, this morning was back to it.

As a side note I’ve set myself the goal of riding 2000 miles on my bike this year. I’m not keen on the slow start, because I know the summer will be slow due to heat…I don’t think either will cause major issues though.

Great goal 2,000 miles is very achievable! You can do it. That’s only 40 miles a week… 4×10miles a week! Or 2×20miles a week! Very manageable… you just got to get out and do it.

Yeah, I’ll get there. I have a 150 mile weekend planned for October which will help things along a lot.

Now…just need a weekend without rain to get going! :)
