I’m a guy trying to beat himself into shape and become generally fit!

At one point in my life I was in decent shape (right about age 21), but over the years gradually let myself slide without even realizing it. 

Following graduation from University real life took over and I wasn’t able to spend anything like the same ammount of time staying in shape, or at least that’s my excuse.  At that point I weighed in just under 190 and was all round fairly fit.

9 years on, married, working, not paying much attention to my physical condition (at least not weighing myself) I stepped on a set of scales and the numbers I saw were eye opening - 255lbs.  Being over 250 was the straw that broke the camel’s back and that’s a pretty heavy straw!

That day was in September 2006.  Since then I’ve made some changes and currently sit somewhere around 196lbs (14 stone, 89kg)  192lbs (13st 9lb, 87kg) 183lbs (13st 1lb, 83kg) 173lbs (12st 5lb, 78.5kg) and I’m aiming to keep dropping and getting fitter.

Actually, I’m not too fussed about losing more weight, I’m more focussed on body fat and getting faster at the things I do.  Currently about 13.5% BF.

- I’m 6′ tall…just a note to put the weight into perspective…
